‘Tehran, Moscow to expedite joint electricity projects’

TEHRAN- Iran and Russia agreed on expediting the joint projects in electricity sector, Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian announced referring to the results of his tow-day visit to Russia on the head of a 10-member delegation.

The minister, who visited some senior Russian officials including Energy Minister Alexander Novak during his stay, mentioned the meetings between the two sides as successful and fruitful, the portal of Iranian Energy Ministry, Paven, reported on Friday.

Ardakanian, who is also the Iranian head of Iran-Russia Joint Economic Committee, said that he met some directors of Russian banks and insurance companies during his visit and the two sides agreed on holding the 15th meeting of the committee in Iran before the end of current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2019).
