TEHRAN – Hossein Amir Abdollahian, a senior foreign policy advisor to the Iranian parliament speaker, on Monday expressed regret over the loss of lives in a recent terrorist chemical attack in Syria’s Aleppo, Mehr reported.
“Iran and Russia have constantly focused their efforts on a political solution to Syria as well as to Yemen, but unfortunately there are countries who see their interests in continuing conflicts,” Amir Abdollahian said in a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan Szhagaryan.
He added that the recent terrorist chemical attack on Aleppo was also handled by warmongers and supporters of insecurity in the region.
