TEHRAN – The military plans to unveil a series of new military products, including a major achievement in the naval industry, defense minister announced on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters after a cabinet session, Amir Hatami said “multiple defense achievements” are going to be unveiled as the Islamic Revolution will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in early 2019.  

Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.
