Exports from SMEs stands at $7b in H1

TEHRAN- The value of exports from Iran’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) stood at $7 billion during the first half of current Iranian calendar year (March 21-Septemebr 22), according to Sadeq Najafi, the managing director of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO).
He said the figure is considerable given the total non-oil exports from the country during the first half, which was $19 billion, IRNA reported.
Some 4,600 small and medium-sized units are under construction in industrial estates of the country, Najafi announced in August.
