TEHRAN – Vice-Speaker of the Austrian Federal Parliament Magnus Brunner has said that his country, as the rotating president of the European Union (EU), will do its best to preserve the Iran nuclear deal in the face of U.S. sanctions.

Brunner made the remarks in a meeting with the chairman and members of the Iran-Austria parliamentary friendship in Vienna, IRNA reported on Wednesday.

Brunner also said that the development of cooperation between small- and medium-sized enterprises as well as provincial partnerships could be a well-suited solution to preserve the nuclear agreement, officially called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
