Iran’s envoy named IAEA conference vice president

TEHRAN - Kazem Gharib Abadi, Iran’s representative to the Vienna-based international organizations, has been elected as the vice president of the International Atomic Energy Agency annual conference.
The 62nd Annual Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference started in Vienna on Monday, September 17, and will run until September 21.
During the conference, high-ranking officials and representatives from IAEA member states will consider a range of issues.
Ali Akbar Salehi, director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), made his speech on Monday.
