Series of rescue and relief drills as well as oil spill response exercises were performed in Astara port, northern Gilan province.

Over the drill, rescue and relief teams along with staff trained in preventing oil discharge into the sea and the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy divers assessed their skills in saving the injured and transferring them to the land, searching for lost bodies, fighting fire, and oil spill control and prevention.
