TEHRAN – Behrouz Nemati, spokesman for the parliament presiding board, said on Sunday the bill on joining the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) will be reviewed by the parliament after the two-week holidays.

“Previously, the representatives had postponed reviewing the bill. In the recent session of the Majlis presiding board, it was decided that the bill be put on the Majlis agenda to be decided upon,” Nemati said, Titre Bartar reported.

On June 10, lawmakers voted in favor of putting off the bill for two months. 138 voted in favor, 103 against and 6 abstained to vote on the issue.
