Some 4,000 people were taught by the 6th Imam, Ja'far Ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq (as) himself or by his apostles and pupils.

Imam al-Sadeq’s school of thought laid the foundation for the biggest scientific revolution in the world.

A few students of students of Imam Sadeq were Jabir ibn Hayyan, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, Khajeh Nasir Toosi, Al-Farabi, Muḥammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, all great contributors to the world of science and philosophy.
