Judiciary: 120 individuals in custody for corruption

TEHRAN – Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said on Monday that 120 individuals are in custody as the Judiciary ramps up efforts to fight corruption, ISNA reported.

Judges are thoroughly examining different aspects of the corruption cases, Amoli Larijani said, emphasizing the Judiciary is firm to bring the arrested individuals to a fair trial.

Refuting widespread slanderous remarks against the Judiciary, the top judge called on the nation to trust the Judiciary in its efforts against corruption.

He said dealing with hoarders is a top priority at the moment.
