Pakistan ambassador hails friendly ties with Iran

TEHRAN – The new Pakistan’s ambassador in Tehran on Tuesday praised growing ties between Tehran and Islamabad, stressing that the two countries are witnessing a new positive development in relations.
In a ceremony held at her residence in Tehran, Rafat Masood said that her appointment as the first female ambassador to Iran was a positive event in deepening relations between the two countries, IRNA reported.
Masood emphasized the important and constructive role of Pakistani citizens residing in Iran in promoting the friendly relations between Pakistan and Iran and also highlighted the important role of women, youth and students in this regard.
