Iran’s exports to Iraq rise 25% in 4 months yr/yr

TEHRAN- The value of Iran’s exports to Iraq increased 25 percent during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-July 22) compared to the same period of time in the past year, the secretary general of Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce announced.
In an interview with IRNA, Seyed Hamid Hosseini said this increase occurred while Iraqi government has boosted import tariffs.
He put the value of Iran’s exported products to the neighboring country at $2.584 billion in the first four months of this year, while the figure was $2.054 billion in the same time span of the past year.
