Palazzo Bastogi hangs works by Iranian young artists
TEHRAN – “Iran Meno Quaranta” (Iran minus Forty), an exhibition of artworks by Iranian artists under 40, is underway at the Palazzo Bastogi in the Italian city of Florence.
Works by 20 painters and photographers are being shown at the exhibit, which opened in the Sala delle Feste of the palace on July 25, the organizers have announced.
The president of the Regional Council of Tuscany Eugenio Giani attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which has been organized in collaboration with SAFPEM, the Middle East and Europe Specialized Institute of Contemporary Arts based in Canada.
Works by Vahid Chamani, Morteza Khosravi, Saeid Khavarnejad, Mostafa Khosravi, Ashkan Sanei, Sudeh Davud, Gita Davari, Behruz Majidi and several other artists have been selected for the exhibit, which has been coordinated by Tannaz Lahiji.
Khavarnejad is also the curator of the exhibition that will run until August 10.
