Iran exports over 2.61m bpd of oil, gas condensate in June
TEHRAN- Iran exported over 2.61 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil and gas condensate in June, Shana news agency reported on Monday.
Oil accounts for 2.28 million bpd and gas condensate constitutes 330,000 bpd of the total exports in the past month.
Iran exported 2.115 million bpd of crude oil in the past Iranian calendar year, which ended on March 20, 2018.
Government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht has recently announced that Iran’s revenue during the first quarter of current Iranian calendar year (March 21-May 21) has increased 59.8 percent compared to the figure of the same period of time in the past year.
As the official said, the country’s oil income also rose 74 percent in the first quarter year on year.
The country’s average oil price since the beginning of current Iranian calendar year stands at $66 per barrel.
Last week, Reuters reported that Iran’s exports of crude oil to major Asian customers in May rose to the highest in eight months, as government and ship-tracking data showed.
China, India, Japan and South Korea last month imported 1.8 million bpd of oil from Iran.
As the data showed, the figure of Iran’s crude exports to Asia in May of this year shows 15 percent rise from that of May 2017.
