U.S. exports to Iran grow 77% in 4 months

TEHRAN- According to the latest report of American Statistical Association (ASA), Iran’s imports of the U.S. products grew 77 percent in the first four months of 2018 in comparison with the same period in 2017.

The figure stood at $45 million from January to April, 2018, mounting from $25.4 million in the same time span in 2017, Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday.

Iran-U.S. trade in the named four months registered a 23-percent rise year-on-year hitting $67.5 million from its previous amount of $54.9 million in the first four months of 2017, the report added.

U.S. imported $22.5 million of goods from Iran in this length of time in 2018, showing 23-percent decrease from its previous $29.5 million in the same period in preceding year.
