May 6, 2018 - 10:43
TEHRAN – Abbasali Kadkhodaei, spokesman of the Guardian Council, said on Saturday that there are lots of ambiguities in the Palermo bill which was approved by the parliament, Tasnim reported.
Back in January, the parliament passed the Palermo bill in order to join the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC).
The bill has been thoroughly reviewed by the Guardian Council, said Kadkhodaei, adding that there are numerous problems within the bill which the parliament has been informed about. He further said the problems are mostly mistakes in translation.
