Issues with India over Farzad B gas field resolved: Zanganeh
TEHRAN – Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said Iran and India have resolved issues regarding Iran’s Farzad B gas field, IRNA reported.
The minister, who visited New Delhi on Wednesday to attend the 16th International Energy Forum Ministerial meeting (IEF16), made the remarks after a meeting with his Indian counterpart Dharmendra Pradhan before the event.
“Previously there were issues over India’s contribution to development of Farzad B gas field, now these issues have been resolved and the two sides have achieved great progress,” the official said.
Zanganeh and Pradhan also discussed India’s oil imports from Iran in their meeting.
Hosted by India in collaboration with China and South Korea, IEF16 aims to focus on how global shifts, transition policies and new technologies influence market stability and future investment in the energy sector.
