Iran thwarts twin suicide attack near border with Pakistan

TEHRAN – Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) troops have thwarted a twin suicide attack near the border with Pakistan, killing two suicide bombers.
The assailants tried to attack a border outpost belonging to the IRGC ground force on Sunday night, Sepah news reported on Monday.
It said one of the attackers was using an explosive-laden truck and the other had a suicide belt.
The report also said one of the attackers blew himself up before being captured, wounding two Iranian forces at the Saravan border crossing in the southeastern Sistan-Baluchistan province.
