Over $2.5b allocated for creating jobs in rural areas

TEHRAN – Iran has allocated 120 trillion rials (about $2.67 billion) for creation of job opportunities in the rural areas, IRNA reported quoting an official as saying on Saturday.
According to Seyed Abolfazl Razavi, the vice president for rural development and deprived areas affairs, based on the country’s Sixth Five-year National Development Plan (2016-2021), every year 384,000 new jobs should be created in the villages.
The allocated fund will be secured from the National Development Fund (NDF) and the governmental budget, the official said.
