IMF anticipates 3.8% GDP growth for Iran in 2018

TEHRAN- In a recent report, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) anticipated a real gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 3.8 percent for Iran in 2018.
The figure shows improvement from the international body’s announced percentage for 2017, which was 3.5 percent,
According to the made prediction, Iran’s inflation will decrease to 10.1 percent in 2018 from its previous 10.5 percent in 2017.
The country's growth of GDP stood at 4.5 percent in the first half of the preset Iranian calendar year 1396 (March 21-September 22, 2017), based on the fixed prices in the Iranian year 1390 (ended March 19, 2012), Central Bank of Iran (CBI) announced in mid-January.
