MPs push to seize officials’ illegal possessions

TEHRAN – Iranian lawmaker Mohammad Dehqan has voiced the parliament’s resolve to confiscate illegal possessions of the country’s officials.

Dehqan, who represents Chenaran in the parliament, said the motion has been signed by 166 parliamentarians and has been handed to the parliament’s presiding board, Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday.

The lawmaker said the number of signatures is on the rise, adding that the motion will be brought up in the parliament on Sunday as a double urgency bill.
