Iran unveils new anti-armor missile

TEHRAN - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps unveiled on Wednesday anti-armor missile Azarakhsh and inaugurated an aviation training center.

Azarakhsh weights 70kg and can destroy targets 10km away at a maximum speed of 550m/s.

The anti-armor missile has been developed to be used in low-altitude air operations and against ground targets. 

According to Fars news agency, a well-equipped aviation center, a helicopter research center and a center for specialized helicopter overhaul center were also inaugurated near Tehran.

IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari attended the ceremony.
