TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi met with a number of his European counterparts on the sidelines of this year’s Munich Security Conference on Saturday to discuss the human catastrophe in Yemen, Mehr reported.

Araqchi met separately with deputy foreign ministers of France, Germany, Britain, and Italy. During the meetings, the sides exchanged views on how to put an end to the Saudi Arabia’s aerial bombardments against the civilians in Yemen.

The Munich conference this year focused on the European Union and its future role as a global actor, military conflicts in Europe and the Middle East, control of arms and tensions over North Korea.
