No Iran unrest student arrestee remains in custody: interior minister

TEHRAN – No student arrested in connection with the recent riots across Iran currently remains in custody, the interior minister said on Tuesday.
Fewer than 300 people remain under arrest on charges of involvement in the riots, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said, adding the Judiciary is handling the cases, Mehr reported.
He also lauded the police for its restraint and tolerance in dealing with the unrest.
Rahmani Fazli also appreciated the fact that when the nation realized that enemies were exploiting the situation, they took a separate path from the rioters.
