Gold ingot output set to hit a record high of 6t

TEHRAN – Iran’s production of gold ingots is seen to reach the record high of six tons by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2018), IRNA reported quoting Iranian deputy industry, mining and trade minister as saying on Wednesday.
According to Jafar Sarqeini, the figure was expected to reach seven tons in the mentioned period, of which six tons will definitely be achieved.
“Based on the ministry’s planning, the country’s gold output is due to increase annually,” the official noted.
