TEHRAN – Hossein Jaberi Ansari, Iran’s top negotiator at the Astana peace talks, held talks on Saturday with Sergei Lavrentyev, the Russian President’s special envoy for Syria.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the executive affairs of holding the Syrian National Dialogue Congress on 30 January in Sochi.

They also discussed the latest coordination for the tripartite meeting of the guarantor countries of the Astana Talks (Iran-Russia-Turkey).
