Iranian studio making “Conquest of Mecca” in response to Saudi animation
TEHRAN – The Fatimat az-Zahra Animation Group, a Tehran-based studio, is making “Conquest of Mecca” in response to a Saudi animation about an attack on Iran.
“In this 13-minute movie, Iran liberates Mecca from Wahhabis and Saudis,” director Farhad Azima told the Persian service of Fars on Saturday.
The animation will be released online in the near future, added Azima, the director of “The Battle of the Persian Gulf 2”, in which Iran fights a war against the United States.
“In this animation, Saudi Arabia launches a war against Iran by using unconventional weapons afterwards Iran destroys some strategic structures of the Saudi regime. The Muslim nations join Iran and liberate Mecca from Saudis,” he stated.
Last December, a Saudi animation video posted on YouTube, Twitter and several other social media platforms warned Iran of the Saudi retaliation in the event of an Iranian military strike against Saudi Arabia.
