80% rise in exports of technical, engineering services in 8 months

TEHRAN- On of the managing directors from Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) announced that Iran’s exports of technical and engineering services has increased 80 percent during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (ended on November 21, 2017), IRIB news reported on Tuesday.

“In comparison with the same period in the preceding year, $554 million of technical and engineering services were exported in the said time, showing 80 percent growth,” Mahmoud Eskandari said.

The figure stood at $308 million in the first eight months of the previous year, he added.

As Eskandari announced previously, Iranian companies signed $465 million of contracts on exporting technical and engineering services during the first half of the present Iranian year (ended on September 22, 2017).

Iran could earn $460 million from exports of technical and engineering service in the last Iranian calendar year 1395 (ended on March 20, 2107), the official announced.
