TEHRAN – Intelligence Ministry announced on Monday that its forces have identified and detained a number of elements behind the recent unrest in the country, saying other agents will be arrested in coming days.

In a statement, the ministry thanked security forces for their measures and expressed gratitude to the Iranian nation for their help, Tasnim reported.

It said the ministry managed to identify and detain some of the elements who incited riots in the country.

The statement added that efforts were in progress to arrest the other agents as soon as possible.
