Value added tax income up 28% in 7 months yr/yr

TEHRAN - Iran collected some 140 trillion rials (about $3.35 billion) in value added tax income during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (ended on October 22, 2017), up 28 percent compared to last year’s same period.

The Iranian government managed to collect about 520 trillion rials (about $12.4 billion) of tax income during the said period, about 2.7 percent more than last year’s seven months.
