Iran masters technology to build nuclear batteries

TEHRAN – An advisor to chief of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) says Iran has mastered the technology to build nuclear batteries which have health and industrial applications, IRNA reported.

Ali Asghar Zarean said on Sunday that Iran is the fifth country in the world which has succeeded to gain this technology. 

He said the other four countries are the United States, Russia, France and the UK.

Zarean also said that the technology can be used in heart pacemakers, laptops, oil field, transferring satellites into space, and other fields.
