India ready to develop communication ties with Iran
TEHRAN- Indian Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha voiced his country’s readiness for expansion of cooperation on information technology, communication and related industries with Iran, IRNA reported on Saturday.
“Iran and India previously negotiated expansion of bilateral communication ties. We continued our negotiations today,” Sinha told IRNA after a Friday meeting with Iranian Minister of Communication and Information Technology Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi.
“Both sides are decisive in expansion of all-out communication ties including increasing bandwidth, research and innovation,” he added.
As Jahromi informed after the meeting, based on a previous agreement, the first joint committee is to be formed between Iran and India’s ministries of communication.
