Czech musicians to raise funds for Kermanshah quake victims at Tehran concert

TEHRAN – A Czech dulcimer band led by Ales Smutny will give a concert at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center tonight to raise funds for the Kermanshah earthquake victims, the center announced on Saturday.

The concert has been organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tehran.

The massive earthquake in the western province of Kermanshah killed hundreds and injured thousands last week.

Pavel Trkan, Jan Telecky and Radek Tyllich are the members of the band that was founded in 1999.
