TEHRAN - Petros T. Nacouzis, the ambassador of Cyprus in Tehran, has said that there are many opportunities for Iran and Cyprus to expand cooperation in economic and cultural areas.

During a meeting of Iran-Cyprus Friendship Group, Nacouzis said that obstacles to expand relations should be removed.

He also called for providing the grounds to boost cooperation.

Mohammad Janpass, the director general of the Iran-Cyprus Friendship Group, highlighted the necessity of economic, cultural and educational interaction between the two countries.
