TEHRAN – More than 500 journalists, working in various Iranian news outlets, have issued a statement expressing their support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) after it was attacked by U.S. President Donald Trump, Mehr reported on Monday.

The statement said Trump’s crazy remarks once again showed American politicians’ hostile stance against the Iranian government and people.

It also described Trump’s disrespectful remarks as a sign Washington’s failure in the region.
