TEHRAN – Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, on Thursday voiced Iran’s readiness to assist the Syrian government in the reconstruction process in the post-war era.

In a meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus, Boroujerdi said the Islamic Republic is ready to use its industrial and economic capabilities to help Syria, Tasnim reported.
