Fallen soldier’s body arrives home

TEHRAN – The body of Iranian soldier Mohsen Hojaji, who was beheaded by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists last month, was brought back to Iran on Monday.

The airplane carrying Hojaji’s body landed at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport at 20:30 on Monday night.

A number of high-ranking Iranian officials and IRGC commanders attended the event and paid tribute to the bravery of the fallen soldier.

Hojaji’s funeral will be held in Tehran on Wednesday morning at Imam Hossein Square. He will then be buried in his hometown, Najafabad, on Thursday.
