France won’t acquiesce to cancellation of nuclear deal: Paris envoy to Washington

TEHRAN – French Ambassador to the U.S. Gerard Araud has said that France will not support violation and cancellation of the 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
“As President Emmanuel Macron said today: there is no alternative to the JCPOA. France will not support or acquiesce to its cancellation,” he tweeted on Tuesday.
President Macron told some 200 French ambassadors gathered in Paris on Tuesday that there is no alternative to the JCPOA which has facilitated constructive relations with Iran.
