TEHRAN – Seyyed Farid Mousavi has been elected as chairman of the parliamentary Youth group, ICANA reported.

Mousavi is a reformist politician who represents Tehran in the parliament.

Fatemeh Hosseini, the Youth spokeswoman, said on Monday that Zahra Saeedi and Sakineh Almasi were also elected as deputy chairwomen, and Sharouz Barzegar and Mohsen Alavi as secretaries.

She noted that the parliamentary group’s main objective is to pursue the issues of the youth.
