TEHRAN – Senior Iranian military commander Major General Qassem Soleimani has said Iran is a central element of stability in the volatile Middle East.

Iran has contributed to peace and security in other nations in the region and helped them irrespective of religious affiliations, Tasnim quoted Soleimani as having said on Sunday.

Soleimani, the Quds Force chief, added that Iran is enjoying a “real and insusceptible” status of power in the region, saying such a level of power is unprecedented in Iran’s history.
