92% of predicted VAT earned in 4 months

TEHRAN- Iran could earn 92 percent of its expected Value Added Tax (VAT) in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21- July 22, 2017), an official in the country’ National Tax Administration was quoted by Tasnim news agency on Sunday.
While the Iranian government has not increased VAT rate recently, it could earn 120.1 trillion rials (about $3.15 billion) of VAT during the said period, showing a growth of 10 percent in comparison to the same time in the preceding year, Mohammad Masihi said.
