TEHRAN – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that Iran and Algeria are following similar policies in the international scene, IRNA reported.

“Iran and Algeria are following similar policies in the international scene in order to strengthen cooperation among Islamic countries and Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) members,” Zarif said on Sunday in the Algerian capital on the first leg of his two-day tour of three North African countries.

He also expressed satisfaction over friendly relations between Iran and Algeria.
