Iran ships first consignment of wheat to Oman

TEHRAN- Iran loaded the first 30,000-ton-consignment of wheat in ship to be exported to Oman, IRNA reported on Monday. According to a high ranking official in Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line (IRISL), Ali Akbar Ghanji, the loaded ship left Iran’s south western port of Bandar Imam Khomeini to Oman.
Based on the pre-set plans, Iran will export 800,000 to one million tons of wheat from Bandar Imam Khomeini to different counters by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2018), the same report confirmed.
