Libyan Minister Calls For Expansion of Ties With Iran

ROME Libyan Minister of Education Maatouq Muhammad Maatouq Sunday in Tripoli called for further expansion of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields. In a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Tripoli Nasrollah Mirzaie, he also expressed his satisfaction over warm and friendly relations between the two Muslim countries. Maatouq Muhammad, who is also the Libyan co-chairman of Iran-Libya Joint Economic and Technical Commission, said that due to great potentials in both countries, the two sides could take more serious and practical steps toward further promotion of bilateral ties.
