TEHRAN - The International Gas Union (IGU) has selected Iran to host the 16th International Gas Research Conference in 2020 (IGRC 2020), Shana reported on Saturday quoting a gas official as saying.

According to Saeed Pakseresht, director of research and technology at National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), the announcement was made at the closing ceremony of the 15th edition of the event which was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from May 24 to 26.
