TEHRAN – The Fereshteh branch of the Book City Institute in Tehran will showcase a collection by Canadian photographer Ken Rusk depicting scenes of Iran’s social life during the early years of the 1970s.
Iranian photojournalist Nader Davudi will be the curator of the exhibition, the institute announced in a press release on Wednesday.
Rusk photographed the collection between 1971 and 1973.
The photos have been selected from among more than 1,000 slides that have never been displayed in any exhibition before. Rusk has recently shared a number of the photos on the Internet.
