TEHRAN – All ministers have been banned from engaging in electoral campaigns, the culture minister said on Monday in answer to a question by Mehr which said President Rouhani has assigned campaign-related tasks to his security ministers.

Reza Salehi Amiri said such allegations are false and the ministers have set themselves upon materializing the current year’s slogan of economic improvement as set by the Leader.

“We refrain from side issues and people will vote with knowledge,” he said.
