TEHRAN – Mostafa Kavakebian, a reformist lawmaker who registered to run for presidential election, said he is not a “shadow candidate” for President Hassan Rouhani, Tasnim news agency reported.

“I’m not a shadow candidate and I intend to carry on till the end,” Kavakebian said on Friday. “But if I realize that people are not leaned toward me, I would make an appropriate decision.”

He also said that he will make every effort to promote the reformist camp.
