Qalibaf says will not run for president

TEHRAN – The Tehran mayor has said he will not run for the May 19 presidential election, Nasim news agency reported on Wednesday.
Qalibaf was one of the 10 potential candidates of the Popular Front of Revolution Forces. He came second during the 2013 presidential election.
Qalibaf stressed that he will endorse any candidate that the principlist groups agree upon.
The Tehran mayor criticized the Rouhani administration for the “critical” economic and social circumstances “the country is suffering from”.
