“Speed in City II” named Iran’s best game of the year

TEHRAN – “Speed in City II”, a driving game from the Arvin Tech Studio, has won Iran’s Best Game of the Year Award at the Sixth Tehran Video Game Festival.

“Speed in City II” has also won the best sports game award.

The main character of the game, Amir, is a professional driver who is amazed by his racing opponents driving skills and starts working with him. Amir’s funny friend, Saeid, is kidnapped and Amir and his friend enter driving competitions to free Saeid. 

The winners were honored during a ceremony held at Tehran’s Milad Tower on Saturday attended by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi-Amiri.

The best action award was given to “Q Bang” by Arna Tech, and the best adventure game award was granted to “Devil in Capital” by RSK Entrainment.

“Runner Khale Qezi” produced by Iran’s Anu Game Studio, won the best platform award, and “The Inner Self” received the best simple genre award.

In addition, “Quiz of Kings” received the best people’s choice award.
